1.1 For a Company using Nuedesk, we collect and use your business information to provide you access to our platform, deliver services, and help you manage customer communications efficiently.

1.2 This Company Privacy Policy should be read together with our Customer Privacy Policy and Visitor Privacy Policy, which describe how we process information relating to your customers and visitors.

We collect personal and business information when you sign up for Nuedesk, use the platform, or provide information directly.

4.1 Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023), you have the right to:

5. Data Retention

5.1 We retain your information for as long as your account is active.

5.2 If your account is closed, subscription payments stop, or Nuedesk terminates your account, we retain your data for up to 2 years before deletion.

5.3 If you request deletion, the process begins within 90 days, unless we are legally required to retain certain records.

5.4 After anonymization, non-identifiable data may still be used to improve our services.

6. Your Customers’ Information

6.1 Nuedesk acts as a data processor for customer information on behalf of your Company (the data controller). We only process customer data as directed by you.

6.2 Companies must ensure that their customers understand how their information is collected, used, and shared, including publishing a privacy policy on their website or storefront.

6.3 If you collect sensitive customer data (e.g., health, race, political opinions), you must obtain explicit consent before processing it.

7. Your Rights Over Your Information

  • All business and customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Access is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Regular monitoring is in place to detect and prevent fraud

In the event of a data breach, affected Companies and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) will be notified in line with the NDPA.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

1.2 Nuedesk acts as a data processor for customer information. The Company is the data controller responsible for determining how your personal information is used.

We may collect personal information when you interact with a Company using Nuedesk, including:

Important: Nuedesk only processes data as instructed by the Company.

  • After this period, tickets and messages are automatically deleted.
